THE DIAL

The Montignac Rampart’s black skeleton dial showcases the silver-toned architecture of its automatic movement through a large central opening. The imposing gold-tone hour markers, combining geometric shapes and Roman numerals, structure its perimeter and emphasise the model’s architectural character. The gold-tone hands stand out elegantly against the exposed mechanics, while the slender black seconds hand adds a contrasting touch to this richly detailed composition.

THE MOVEMENT

The Montignac Rampart is powered by a Sea-Gull skeleton automatic movement, which draws its energy from the natural movements of the wrist. Visible through the openwork dial and transparent case back, its mechanics in motion reveal the full complexity of its architecture and bring the hours, minutes and seconds display to life. Once fully wound, this mechanism offers a power reserve of approximately 36 hours.

THE BRACELET

The Montignac Rampart’s genuine black leather strap brings a touch of elegance to its imposing rectangular gold-tone case. Its smooth surface and tone-on-tone stitching emphasise its understated lines, while its 28 mm width harmonises perfectly with the watch’s bold proportions. Supple and comfortable on the wrist, it is fitted with a pin buckle for a simple and precise adjustment.

WATERPROOFNESS

With a water resistance of 50 metres (5 ATM), the Montignac Rampart can withstand splashes, rain and occasional contact with water, making it suitable for everyday activities such as handwashing. However, to preserve its movement as well as the appearance and suppleness of its leather strap, it is recommended to remove the watch before showering or swimming.
