The Montignac Origine combines contemporary elegance and character within a beautifully balanced silhouette. Its champagne-coloured stainless steel case frames an architectural dial with black and gold-tone details, featuring a chronograph, a 24-hour indicator and a date window positioned at 6 o’clock. Its matching Milanese mesh bracelet elegantly extends the lines of the watch and creates subtle plays of light. Designed and assembled in France, this timepiece stands out through its distinctive and daring aesthetic.
The dial of the Montignac Origine is built around a succession of layers, combining a champagne-coloured outer ring, a black structure and silver-tone elements. In the background, the Maison’s imposing “M” extends across the composition, giving the model an instantly recognisable graphic signature. The chronograph minute counter at 9 o’clock is balanced by the 24-hour indicator at 3 o’clock, while the date window at 6 o’clock completes the symmetrical layout. Despite this visual richness, the peripheral minute track and large hour markers ensure that each indication remains easy to read.
At the heart of the Montignac Origine, the Japanese TMI VK64 quartz movement precisely controls the dial’s various functions. Its chronograph measures time to one-fifth of a second and records elapsed times of up to 60 minutes on the counter positioned at 9 o’clock. It also powers the 24-hour indicator at 3 o’clock and the date window at 6 o’clock. Reliable and requiring little maintenance, this calibre perfectly complements the model’s wealth of practical functions.
The Montignac Origine’s Milanese mesh bracelet echoes the champagne tone of the case, creating a particularly elegant visual continuity. Its finely woven construction catches the light with every movement and contrasts subtly with the solid lines of the case. Measuring 26 mm in width, it naturally complements the watch’s generous proportions while sitting comfortably around the wrist. Its sliding clasp allows the length to be adjusted easily and precisely.
With a water resistance of 50 metres (5 ATM), the Montignac Origine is protected against splashes, rain and occasional contact with water. It can therefore be worn with confidence during everyday activities, including handwashing. However, it is not designed for showering, swimming or prolonged immersion. To preserve its water resistance over time, the crown and pushers should never be operated when the watch is wet.
